Job Summary: The R&D Flexible Packaging Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of flexible packaging solutions for our clients food products. This role requires a deep understanding of packaging materials, manufacturing processes, and industry trends. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in packaging engineering and a passion for innovation.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Lead the development of new flexible packaging solutions from concept to commercialization.
2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including R&D, Procurement, and Production, to ensure packaging meets quality, cost, and timeline requirements.
3. Conduct research and stay updated on industry trends to identify new packaging materials and technologies.
4. Manage packaging testing and validation processes to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company standards.
5. Optimize packaging designs for efficiency, sustainability, and consumer appeal.
6. Provide technical support to production teams to resolve packaging-related issues.
7. Develop and maintain relationships with packaging suppliers and vendors.
8. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance packaging performance and cost-effectiveness.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Packaging Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in flexible packaging development, preferably in the food industry.
• Strong knowledge of packaging materials, processes, and regulations.
• Experience with packaging design software
• Excellent project management and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
