Responsibilities
- Develop detailed project plans and timelines to ensure timely delivery.
- Collaborate with clients (international and local) and technical teams to plan and implement project deliverables.
- Maintain daily communication with clients and stakeholders to keep projects on track and within budget.
- Identify opportunities to upsell company capabilities to existing clients.
- Create essential documentation including Statements of Work, Project Proposals, and Deliverables.
- Liaise between the project team, leadership, and finance teams.
- Manage the expectations of all stakeholders involved in the projects.
- Establish clear ownership of projects, ensuring timely deliverables.
- Lead technical teams while practicing core agile principles.
- Identify resource requirements and prepare budget forecasts based on project scope.
- Manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously.
- Make proactive decisions to advance project progress.
- Provide regular status updates to key stakeholders.
- Mentor and motivate team members, leading by example.
- Identify, assess, and control project risks.
- Coordinate with dependent teams across different locations/time zones.
- Recommend process improvements for project efficiency.
Requirements
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in project management within the software development industry.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business, or a related field preferred but not required.
- PMP, CSM, PMI-ACP, PRINCE2, or similar project management certifications are advantageous.
- Experience managing medium to large-scale software development projects.
- In-depth understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Hands-on experience with agile project management methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban).
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in project management tools (Trello, Jira, Notion etc.).
- Fluency in English, both verbal and written.
- Outstanding time management and organizational skills.
- Strong leadership qualities and the ability to manage cross-functional teams.
