About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Civil Engineer with a focus on bridge work to join our team. The successful candidate will play a critical role in the design, construction, and maintenance of bridge projects in the Jiwaka and Southern Highlands regions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage bridge construction projects from conception to completion.
• Oversee site investigations, assessments, and the design of new bridge structures.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.
• Coordinate with other engineers, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure project goals are met.
• Conduct inspections and maintenance of existing bridge structures.
• Prepare detailed project reports and documentation.
• Manage project budgets and timelines effectively.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in bridge engineering.
• Proven track record of successfully completed bridge projects.
• Strong knowledge of engineering principles, construction materials, and methods.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Proficiency in relevant engineering software and tools.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license is preferred but not mandatory.
