A Video Intern plays a crucial role in supporting the video production team by participating in the entire production process from concept to final output. This position is designed to provide hands-on experience and develop technical skills in video production. The Video Intern will collaborate with team members to produce engaging video content for various platforms, including social media, websites, and promotional materials.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Pre-Production:Research and Planning: Assist in researching topics, gathering reference materials, and developing concepts for video projects. Storyboarding: Create and refine storyboards and shot lists to visualize the sequence of the video. Scriptwriting: Help draft scripts and dialogue for video content.
  2. Production:Camera Operation: Set up and operate video cameras, ensuring proper framing, focus, and exposure. Lighting and Sound: Assist with setting up lighting and audio equipment to ensure high-quality footage. Directing: Provide input on shots and assist in directing talent during shoots.
  3. Post-Production:Editing: Import, organize, and edit raw footage into polished videos using editing software. Graphics and Effects: Create and incorporate graphics, titles, and special effects as needed. Color Correction: Perform color grading to ensure visual consistency and enhance the overall look of the video. Sound Editing: Sync audio, adjust levels, and add sound effects or music to enhance the video.
  4. Distribution:Format Conversion: Prepare videos in various formats suitable for different platforms and devices. Upload and Management: Assist in uploading videos to social media, websites, and other distribution channels. Analytics: Monitor and report on the performance of video content, providing insights for future projects.
  5. Collaboration:Team Meetings: Participate in regular team meetings to discuss project progress and receive feedback. Client Interaction: Occasionally interact with clients or stakeholders to understand their vision and requirements for video projects.
  6. Administrative Tasks:Equipment Maintenance: Help maintain and organize video production equipment. Documentation: Keep accurate records of projects, including shot lists, scripts, and editing notes.
