About the Role:
As a Sales & Marketing Intern at Metana, you will play a vital role in our sales & marketing outreach activities, particularly in engaging with potential customers and managing our online presence. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are eager to develop their skills in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead Engagement: Promptly respond to cold leads that we have reached out to, employing effective communication strategies to convert these leads into potential customers.
- Respond to Inquiries: Respond to inquiries from potential customers or students in a timely and professional manner.
- Scheduling Calls: Schedule calls with qualified applicants using Calendly.
- Sales Team Monitoring: Monitor the members of the sales team and ensure calls are conducted in an orderly manner.
- CRM Management: Maintain all deal information coming through all communication channels in the CRM system. This includes updating communication history.
- Deal Tracking: Update deal stages and track progress throughout the sales or admissions funnel, following the company's specific process for managing leads through different stages.
- Follow-up: Follow up with leads as needed to ensure a smooth conversion process, including sending reminder messages or nudges to keep them engaged.
- Online Community Interaction: Actively participate in online forums and discussions relevant to our brand keywords, enhancing brand visibility and engagement.
- Content Support: Collaborate with the marketing team to create and curate engaging content for various digital platforms.
- Market Research: Conduct research on market trends, customer insights, and competitor strategies to inform marketing decisions.
- Marketing Opportunities: Research and identify potential marketing opportunities through all channels.
- Marketing Material Creation: Assist with creating and distributing marketing materials for communication channels, including crafting engaging messages or developing creative content specifically for the WhatsApp platform.
- Report Preparation: Prepare reports for all communication channels, tracking relevant data (e.g., response rates, conversion rates) and presenting it in a clear and concise way.
Requirements
- Educational Background: Pursuing or completed a degree in any field.
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Growth Mindset: A keen learner with a proactive approach to personal and professional development.
- Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with social media platforms, content management systems, and basic marketing tools.
