Job Description:
As the Head of Sales, you will be responsible for:
- Market Research & Customer Needs: Conduct market research to identify selling possibilities and evaluate customer needs. Identify revenue opportunities and develop appropriate measures to exploit these opportunities in all relevant segments.
- Sales Promotion: Steer sales promotion activities based on defined action plans.
- Team Leadership: Lead a sales team to deliver excellent customer service through engagement, motivation, coaching, and leadership.
- Client Visits: Visit clients and potential clients to evaluate needs or promote products and services.
- Client Support: Answer clients' questions about credit terms, products, prices, and availability.
- Innovative Approach: Keep an open mind to new ideas and ways of conducting business while focusing on the company’s goals and business plan.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Education: Diploma or degree in sales or any other relevant field of study.
- Experience: Between 8 to 10 years of experience in cargo sales or logistics management.
- Language Skills: Proficiency in written and spoken English and the local language.
- Technical Skills: IT literacy (MS Office).
Preferred Skills:
- Leadership: Must be able to lead employees and provide guidance and direction.
- Performance Improvement: Ability to troubleshoot performance and lead process improvement.
- Communication & Collaboration: Skilled in interpersonal communications, leadership, delegation, collaboration, critical thinking, and problem solving.
- Client Management: Strong client management and negotiation skills.
