Job Description:

As the Head of Sales, you will be responsible for:

  • Market Research & Customer Needs: Conduct market research to identify selling possibilities and evaluate customer needs. Identify revenue opportunities and develop appropriate measures to exploit these opportunities in all relevant segments.
  • Sales Promotion: Steer sales promotion activities based on defined action plans.
  • Team Leadership: Lead a sales team to deliver excellent customer service through engagement, motivation, coaching, and leadership.
  • Client Visits: Visit clients and potential clients to evaluate needs or promote products and services.
  • Client Support: Answer clients' questions about credit terms, products, prices, and availability.
  • Innovative Approach: Keep an open mind to new ideas and ways of conducting business while focusing on the company’s goals and business plan.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Education: Diploma or degree in sales or any other relevant field of study.
  • Experience: Between 8 to 10 years of experience in cargo sales or logistics management.
  • Language Skills: Proficiency in written and spoken English and the local language.
  • Technical Skills: IT literacy (MS Office).

Preferred Skills:

  • Leadership: Must be able to lead employees and provide guidance and direction.
  • Performance Improvement: Ability to troubleshoot performance and lead process improvement.
  • Communication & Collaboration: Skilled in interpersonal communications, leadership, delegation, collaboration, critical thinking, and problem solving.
  • Client Management: Strong client management and negotiation skills.
