Job Description:

As a Quality Assurance Engineer, you will:

• Test Planning: Create detailed, thoughtfully designed, and well-structured test plans and test cases.
• Functional & Regression Testing: Perform comprehensive functional and regression testing to identify edge cases.
• Defect Management: Identify and track defects, working closely with the development team to resolve them.
• Impact Analysis: Identify functions that could be affected by changes or fixes.
• Automated Testing: Create, review, execute, and maintain automated tests as applicable.
• Documentation: Ensure all formal test activities are performed and properly recorded.
• Test Environment Setup: Setup and utilize test environments to perform testing to its optimal capacity.
• Performance & Release Testing: Conduct performance testing and release testing of product deliverables.
• Collaboration: Build strong working relationships with the client’s product development team and work collaboratively with the development team to achieve project goals.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or an equivalent qualification.
• Experience: More than 2 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance.
• Manual Testing: Excellent knowledge of manual testing, emphasizing out-of-the-box thinking.
• Automated Testing: Good knowledge of automated testing/tools (Selenium, Robot, Katalon Studio).
• Performance Testing: Familiarity with performance testing tools (Jmeter, Gatlin).
• QA Methodologies: Knowledge of Software QA methodologies, processes, and standards.
• Agile Practices: Good understanding of Agile Software Development practices (Scrum).
• Communication: Excellent communication skills in English (both verbal and written).
