Job Summary:

The Shisha Attendant is responsible for providing exceptional shisha service to our guests, ensuring a memorable and enjoyable experience. This includes preparing, maintaining, and serving shisha, interacting with guests to meet their preferences, and ensuring the shisha area is clean and well-maintained.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Shisha Preparation and Service: Prepare shisha (hookah) using a variety of flavours as per the guests' preferences. Set up, maintain, and clean shisha equipment regularly. Ensure the shisha is always fresh and properly packed for optimal smoking experience. Serve shisha to guests promptly and courteously. Monitor and maintain the quality of shisha during the guests’ smoking session.
2. Customer Service: Greet guests warmly and engage with them to understand their shisha preferences. Provide recommendations on shisha flavours and combinations. Address any guest concerns or issues promptly and efficiently. Ensure guest satisfaction by providing high-quality and consistent service.
3. Maintenance and Cleanliness: Regularly clean and sanitize all shisha equipment and the shisha preparation area. Ensure all safety standards and regulations are adhered to in the shisha preparation and serving process. Manage inventory of shisha supplies and communicate with the manager for reordering.
4. Team Collaboration: Work closely with the lounge staff to ensure smooth operations. Assist in other areas of the lounge as needed, including serving drinks and food. Participate in team meetings and training sessions.
5. Compliance and Safety: Adhere to all health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe environment for guests and staff. Stay informed about the latest trends and safety practices in shisha service.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a Shisha Attendant or in a similar role in a bar or lounge setting is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of shisha preparation and different flavours.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Attention to detail and commitment to providing high-quality service.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
