Job Summary:

The Concierge / Bellman with Security/Bouncing Experience is responsible for providing a warm welcome to guests, assisting with their needs, and ensuring their safety and security during their visit. This dual role combines the traditional duties of a concierge and bellman with the added responsibilities of maintaining order and security within the lounge.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Guest Services: Greet guests upon arrival and departure with a friendly and professional demeanour. Assist guests with luggage, including carrying and storing it as needed. Provide guests with information about the lounge's services, local attractions, and directions. Handle guest inquiries and requests efficiently and courteously.
2. Security and Safety: Monitor the entrance and ensure only authorized individuals enter the lounge. Maintain a visible presence to deter any potential disturbances or incidents. Address any security concerns or incidents promptly and effectively. Collaborate with management and staff to ensure a safe and secure environment for guests and employees.
3. Operational Support: Assist with the setup and breakdown of events or special functions as needed. Coordinate with the lounge staff to ensure smooth operations. Manage the storage and retrieval of guests' items. Assist in crowd control and maintaining an orderly flow of guests.
4. Customer Relations: Build and maintain positive relationships with guests, ensuring their needs are met. Handle guest complaints or issues calmly and professionally, escalating to management when necessary. Ensure guest satisfaction by providing high-quality and attentive service.
5. Team Collaboration: Work closely with the lounge staff and management to ensure all areas are covered and operational needs are met. Participate in team meetings and training sessions. Assist colleagues during peak times to maintain high service standards.
6. Report Writing: Write reports on incidents when the need arises.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a concierge, bellman, or security/bouncer role in a hospitality, nightlife or office setting.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of safety and security protocols.
• Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy luggage and stand for extended periods.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
