To be a good fit for this role, you will ideally need:

Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in software development.

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in modern web technologies, including React and Node.js.
• Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure and services (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
• Experience with database technologies like PostgreSQL and SQL Server.
• Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure and services (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
• Strong understanding of UX and UI design patterns, and a passion for building modern UI based on material design principles.
• Extensive commercial experience using React, with a good understanding of React design patterns.
• Extensive commercial experience using TypeScript.
• Extensive experience with API design and development, and a strong understanding of API security best-practices.
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools such as Git.

Soft Skills:

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Ability to lead and mentor development teams.
• Strategic thinking and the ability to align technology with business objectives.

Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

About the Role

The key accountabilities of the role include the following.

• Architecture Design: Lead the design and architecture of cloud-based web applications, ensuring scalability, security, and performance.
• Technical Leadership: Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams, ensuring adherence to best practices and standards.
• Technology Strategy: Develop and implement technology strategies that align with business goals, leveraging modern web technologies and cloud infrastructure.
• DevOps & CI/CD: Advocate and implement DevOps practices, including continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD), to streamline development and deployment processes.
• Cloud Infrastructure: Oversee the deployment and management of cloud infrastructure, leveraging services from providers such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Database Management: Design and manage database solutions using technologies like PostgreSQL and SQL Server, ensuring data integrity, performance, and security.
• Documentation: Create and maintain architectural documentation, including design patterns, technical specifications, and system diagrams.
• Performance Optimization: Identify and address performance bottlenecks in applications, ensuring optimal performance and user experience.
• Security: Implement security best practices and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
