Finance Accounting Manager (Food Manufacturing)
RecruicityJob Summary: The Finance Accounting Manager is responsible for managing and overseeing the daily operations of the accounting department, including the production of periodic financial reports, maintenance of an adequate system of accounting records, and comprehensive controls and budgets designed to mitigate risk. This position ensures the reported results comply with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) or international financial reporting standards (IFRS) and provides financial analysis and advice to support the company's decision-making process.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Reporting:Prepare monthly financial reports, including Profit and Loss (PnL), Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow statements. Ensure that accounting procedures comply with PSAK (Pernyataan Standar Akuntansi Keuangan). Review all General Ledger (G/L) accounts to ensure accurate allocation.
Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs):Ensure that the Finance & Accounting SOPs are correctly implemented and followed.
Inventory and Asset Management:Control and review stock opname inventory with the accounting team and warehouse team to ensure accuracy and compliance with SOPs. Oversee annual stock opname asset together with the accounting, engineering, and HRGA teams.
Costing and Production:Collaborate with the costing team to review and analyze production records, ensuring they adhere to SOPs.
Audits and Tax Compliance:Ensure the annual audit is conducted effectively and accurately. Monitor monthly tax reports and payments to ensure compliance with Indonesian tax regulations. Prepare annual corporate tax reports in collaboration with the Tax Accounting Supervisor.
Payment and Collection Systems:Control payment and collection systems to ensure adherence to company procedures and policies.
Requirements:
Education and Experience:Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. Professional certification (e.g., CPA, CA) preferred. Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
Skills and Competencies:In-depth knowledge of PSAK, GAAP, and IFRS. Strong understanding of financial statements and accounting principles. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office, particularly Excel. Strong leadership and team management skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
