About Position:

The Physician Team Leader, also known as the POD Leader, serves as a valuable resource and coach, greatly influencing the clinical performance of the team. This esteemed leader will work closely with advanced practice providers, fostering a collaborative environment within the team. We are currently seeking Physicians who are eager to contribute their skills and expertise in delivering exceptional and compassionate healthcare to elderly individuals and those with complex medical conditions. This unique opportunity offers the chance to work within established care models, ensuring the provision of high-quality care.

Schedule:

• Full-Time (40hrs/wk)
• Mon-Fri Operation (8am-5pm)
• No weekends or holidays

Requirements:

• Doctorate Degree
• Valid MD license/certification in TX
• Board Certified or Board Eligible
• EMR Experience
• Experience in Geriatrics, Home Care, or Complex Patients (3+ yrs in one or more)

Additional Details:

• Physician will be treating patients in their homes or assisted living with an assigned Certified Medical Assistant
• Must have the ability to lead and partner with NPs and support them with high-rish patient cases
• The client will provide a company care for the Physician and CMA to use
• Physician will see anywhere from 5-7 patients per day (travel radius is up to 60 miles)
• Physician will usually start the day off in office with team and then go with partnering CMA out in the field to treat patients
