What you will be doing

• Regularly perform backup and recovery procedures to ensure data can be restored quickly in case of an incident.
• Knowledge of restoring backups to the server (cPanel).
• Implement security measures to protect against unauthorized access and other vulnerabilities.
• Manage user access controls, ensuring only authorized personnel can access or modify data.
• Collaborate with developers and other staff to ensure seamless integration between the website and the database.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of database configurations, procedures, and policies.
• Automate routine database tasks where possible to increase efficiency and reduce the potential for human error.

What you will need to be considered

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Proven experience in IT support and database management, particularly in a marketing agency.
• Experience with implementing and managing security measures.
• Proficient in managing cloud storage solutions and cPanel, and Basic knowledge of web development (WordPress/Shopify) would be an added advantage.
• Excellent knowledge of networking, operating systems, and server management.
