Job Overview:We are seeking a talented and creative CMS-Based (WordPress) Web Designer to join our team immediately. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and developing visually appealing, user-friendly, and responsive websites using WordPress. This role involves collaborating closely with our content creators, strategists, and other stakeholders to ensure our websites effectively convey our clients' brand messages and drive engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Website Design and Development: Design, develop, and maintain websites using WordPress, ensuring they are visually appealing, user-friendly, and responsive.
• Content Integration: Work with content creators and strategists to integrate text, images, videos, and other media into websites, maintaining consistency with the brand’s tone and style.
• Customization and Optimization: Customize WordPress themes and plugins to meet specific client needs, ensuring optimal performance and loading speeds.
• User Experience (UX) Design: Implement best practices in UX design to enhance site usability and user satisfaction.
• SEO : Implement basic SEO principles to ensure websites are optimized for search engines and improve organic search rankings.
• Testing and Troubleshooting: Conduct thorough testing of websites on various devices and browsers, and troubleshoot any issues to ensure a seamless user experience.
• Maintenance and Updates: Regularly update and maintain websites to ensure security, functionality, and relevance of content.
• Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing team, content writers, and other stakeholders to ensure websites meet project requirements and deadlines.
• Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with the latest industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in web design and development.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a WordPress web designer or similar role
• Proficiency in WordPress, including experience with themes, plugins, and customizations.
• Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP.
• Excellent design skills with a keen eye for aesthetics and detail.
• Basic understanding of SEO best practices.
• Experience with responsive design and mobile-first development.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot website issues effectively.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced startup environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
