Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for a Business Development Manager at Intiv Global. The Business Development Manager will be responsible for identifying, pursuing, and securing new business opportunities. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional communication and report-writing skills, and a proven track record in business development. This role requires a strategic thinker with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients, understand their needs, and propose solutions that align with our company's offerings. This role will involve a mix of office-based work in Colombo and remote work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and research potential clients and business opportunities within relevant sectors.
- Develop and execute strategies to achieve sales targets and expand the company's customer base.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.
- Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals to prospective clients.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure the successful delivery of solutions to clients.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify new opportunities for growth.
- Prepare comprehensive and insightful reports on business development activities, sales performance, and market trends.
- Participate in industry events, conferences, and networking activities to enhance the company's visibility and brand.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in business development and sales
- Knowledge of the IT industry and digital solutions
- Knowledge in Sustainability and ESG principles is a plus
- Fluent English speaking and communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and effectively.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to build and maintain client relationships
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities
- Self-motivated and results-oriented
- Flexibility to work both in the office and remotely
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field
