About the Role:

As a Sales & Marketing Intern at Empire , you will contribute to our marketing and client outreach efforts, particularly in engaging with existing and potential clients via social media and managing our online presence. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are eager to develop their skills by working closely with the head of Marketing and the social media team.

Responsibilities

• Responding to client inquiries: Promptly respond to any inbound messages sent by our clientele across our Social platforms, including - TikTok, Instagram, Facebook employing effective communication strategies.
• Aid in content creation : Collaborate with the content creation team to brainstorm and develop engaging content ideas for TikTok, Instagram, and other social media platforms, that align with our brand persona.
• Post Content: Post content according to our content calender ensuring they are published on time and in line with the marketing strategy.
• Community Engagement : Monitor and respond to comments, messages, and mentions across all social media channels. Engage with followers to build a strong online community and foster brand loyalty.
• Assist with Campaigns: Support the marketing team in planning and executing marketing campaigns. Help develop promotional materials and coordinate with influencers.
• Documentation: Keep detailed records of social media activity, including posts, interactions, and performance metrics.
• Follow-up: Follow up with leads as needed to ensure a smooth conversion process, including sending reminder messages or nudges to keep them engaged.
• Online Community Interaction: Actively participate in online forums and discussions relevant to our brand keywords, enhancing brand visibility and engagement.
• Market Research: Conduct research on market trends, customer insights, and competitor strategies to inform marketing decisions.

Requirements

• Proficiency in social media platforms (TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, etc.).Basic understanding of social media analytics and reporting tools.
• Experience running social media campaigns is a plus
• Educational Background: Pursuing or completed a degree in any field.
• Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Growth Mindset: A keen learner with a proactive approach to personal and professional development.
• Creative mindset with the ability to generate engaging content ideas.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Additional Information:

• This is a full-time position based 3 days at our Office at 95/A/5 Hokandara North, Hokandara, and 2 days of working from within colombo with the team.
