About Our Client
Our client is a global multinational corporation specializing in geophysical surveys for the Oil & Gas, Marine, and Offshore sectors.
The selected candidate will be responsible for the following:
• Support the client's daily operational needs for Geophysical, Hydrographic, and Coastal Resilience surveys in the APAC region.
• Represent the client in global technical steering groups and interact with international technical OEM vendors as needed.
• Drive APAC regional participation in technical systems and processes, from concept to commercial operations, enhancing the survey business.
Job Description
• Collaborate with operators to improve survey data acquisition efficiency, product quality, and safety.
• Work with the commercial team to review technical aspects of projects.
• Partner closely with the Global Geophysical team to enhance marine geophysics in the APAC region.
• Source relevant equipment hardware and software to meet future business needs.
• Attend pre-project client meetings to identify principal technical risks for potential projects, as required.
• Attend post-project client debriefings to understand customer pain points, lessons learnt, and areas for improvement.
• Act as a technical advisor to survey teams in the APAC region, providing guidance on improving field operations with applied technology. Share best practices with global Marine Site Characterization steering teams (USV, AUV, OWF).
• Work closely with the commercial and technical teams to specify and achieve project objectives.
• Communicate progress, opportunities, and issues to senior management through monthly calls and quarterly reports.
Requirements
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics Engineering or a related field.
• 8-15 years of experience with applied technologies in geophysics and hydrographic industries, with practical offshore project experience being essential.
• Preferably with 3 years of project management experience.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
• Good networking abilities.
• Strong organizational skills and inclusive working style. Establishes strong working relationships with all team members.
• Proven ability to solve operational problems independently and deliver effective results to internal clients
