Overview

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented HR Assistant to support our HR team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for HR, excellent organizational skills, and strong communication skills, with the ability to handle sensitive information confidentially.

Your primary role will be to assist with the recruitment process. Also, this role offers a great opportunity to learn and contribute to various HR functions in a dynamic and collaborative work environment.

Responsibilities

  • To conduct recruitment and onboarding processes by posting job openings, screening resumes, scheduling interviews, and conducting initial candidate assessments.
  • Coordinate and facilitate new employee orientations, ensuring a smooth transition into the organization.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, both physical and electronic, in compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
  • Process HR-related documentation and ensure proper filing of personnel records, benefits forms, and other confidential materials.
  • Support the administration of employee benefits, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other perks, by facilitating enrollment, addressing inquiries, and liaising with benefits providers.
  • Assist in performance management processes by tracking performance evaluations, goals, and providing necessary reminders to managers and employees.
  • Respond to employee inquiries regarding HR policies, procedures, and general inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
  • Assist in the coordination of training and development programs, including scheduling workshops, seminars, and online learning activities.
  • Participate in HR projects as assigned, such as employee engagement initiatives, diversity and inclusion programs, and process improvements.
  • Help maintain a positive and productive working environment by promoting a culture of respect, teamwork, and open communication.
  • Stay informed about relevant labor laws, regulations, and HR best practices to ensure compliance and contribute to a legally sound workplace.
  • Perform other administrative tasks as required to support the HR department's overall effectiveness.

Requirements

  • IT recruitment experience preferred; not mandatory but beneficial.
  • Prior experience in an HR assistant or recruiter role.
  • Ability to conduct individual and group interviews, ensuring an accurate assessment of candidates.
  • Ability to efficiently screen resumes, identifying the most qualified professionals within the Company's parameters and culture.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a professional and approachable demeanor.
  • A team player with a positive attitude and the ability to work collaboratively across departments.
  • Basic understanding of employment laws and regulations is preferred.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing situations.
  • A commitment to continuous learning and professional growth within the HR field.
  • Starting time should be around 20th August 2024.
  • Candidate must be located in Malta.
  • Must be fluent in English.
