The Role

This is a role that carries out leading the daily application operations which includes product support, systems monitoring/maintenance, automation and troubleshooting. An Associate Lead TechOps Engineer role would require adequate leadership qualities and sound technical skills in Cloud native technologies including container management and container orchestration. Also need to identify issues in the production phase and system and implement monitoring solutions to overcome those issues. We support clients around the globe, so the team will be a roster based engineering team providing 24/7*365 - L1/L2 support for projects.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in IT, Computer Science or in a related field
  • Minimum of 3 years work experience in software delivery and Cloud-native technologies
  • Good Knowledge in Linux Administration (RHCSA certification or hands-on is preferred)
  • Experience in Containerized Deployment (Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Strong analytical skills and problem-solving abilities
  • Strong and effective interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to interact promptly and professionally with teams across different time zones
  • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
  • Familiarity in industrial tools will be advantageous (Jenkins, Rundeck, Soap UI, postman, Ansible etc.)
  • Experience in cloud technologies will be an additional advantage (AWS, Azure, OCI).

Responsibilities

  • Deploying and managing production architecture Linux hosted system(Microservices & monolithic)
  • Install, Tune & manage Middleware containers, CMS, Caching technology & Database system in different cloud platforms & hosted systems
  • Assist in troubleshooting issues, attending to faults, analysis of issues, applying corrective action / workarounds, proving RCAs
  • Involve in operational cycle design, implementation and automation of the CD pipeline
  • Resource and capacity planning within distinct project
  • Coaching and mentoring
  • Engagement in blocker/critical incidents adhering to defined SLAs
  • Engage with Global clients for Triage calls/Release calls
  • Supports issue resolution, providing options and solutions to resolve conflicts within the team and escalating to the team Leads when required
  • Capturing and sharing knowledge and ensuring use of documentation within the team
  • Support management to implement team goals and objectives
  • Assist HR to the recruitment process
  • Career path development and create Learning opportunities for subordinates
