Senior Process Associate - Accounts Payable

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle the entire Accounts Payable process, including invoice processing, payment scheduling, vendor management, and reconciliation.
  • Perform three-way matching of purchase orders, goods receipts, and invoices to ensure accurate and timely processing of payments.
  • Maintain effective communication with vendors and internal stakeholders, resolving any discrepancies or issues related to payments.
  • Process high-volume invoices accurately and efficiently, adhering to company policies and client-specific requirements.
  • Manage payment runs, ensuring timely and accurate payments to vendors in compliance with contractual terms.
  • Generate and analyze reports related to Accounts Payable activities, including aging reports, payment status, and vendor balances.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements in all Accounts Payable processes.
  • Work closely with clients, especially Australian clients, to understand their requirements and provide exceptional service.
  • Identify areas for process improvement within the Accounts Payable function and contribute to the implementation of best practices.

Key Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in Accounts Payable within a BPO environment or with foreign client exposure, preferably with Australian clients. Exposure to USA or European clients is also valuable.
  • Proven experience in performing three-way matching processes.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or any other Accounts Payable software.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English. Ability to interact with foreign clients effectively.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail in processing invoices and payments.
  • Strong analytical skills to identify discrepancies and resolve issues.
  • Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines, especially when working with clients in different time zones.
  • Willingness to work in the Australian time zone.
  • Experience working with Australian clients.
  • Knowledge of GST and other relevant tax regulations in Australia.
  • Experience in process improvement initiatives.
