About the Role

As a Product Engineer Intern, you will enhance and refine our bootcamps by improving curriculum content, managing the Learning Management System (LMS), and collaborating with instructors to integrate feedback. Reporting to the Head of Operations and Product Engineer, you'll also work on optimizing class processes and staying with current industry trends. This role offers hands-on experience and growth opportunities in a dynamic environment, contributing significantly to the quality and effectiveness of our bootcamp programs.

Responsibilities

Curriculum Enhancement

  • Improve and update curriculum content to ensure it meets the latest industry standards and remains engaging for students.
  • Manage the Learning Management System (LMS) to optimize user experience and ensure smooth delivery of course materials.

Instructor Collaboration

  • Conduct regular meetings with bootcamp instructors to gather feedback and discuss potential improvements.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for instructors regarding curriculum updates and product changes.

Communication and Coordination

  • Effectively communicate changes and updates to bootcamp instructors and the student success team to ensure alignment.
  • Coordinate with various teams to facilitate the integration of product enhancements.

Process Optimization

  • Design and implement upgrades to current class processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Continuously explore and adopt industry best practices to improve the bootcamp experience.

Professional Development

  • Stay current with industry trends and technologies to maintain relevance and alignment with industry standards.
  • Seek opportunities for skill development and self-improvement to contribute to personal and organizational growth.

Qualifications

Skills

  • Familiarity with the MERN stack.
  • Experience with agile development methodologies.
  • Strong documentation skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.

Education

  • Pursuing or completed a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

Experience

  • Previous experience or projects involving curriculum development or management of Learning Management Systems is a plus.

Certifications

  • Relevant certifications in software development or educational technologies are advantageous but not required.
