Position Summary:

The Digital Account Manager is responsible for growing and maintaining a client portfolio across website and digital marketing products. This is achieved through contacting prospective leads, selling digital products and services, and managing existing client relationships. The role involves developing and executing digital marketing campaigns and collaborating with internal teams to ensure the successful delivery of projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Client Relationship Management:

  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients, developing and maintaining strong relationships.
  • Create relationships with new clients from initial contact to sale and onboarding for digital marketing campaigns.

Digital Marketing Strategy:

  • Work with clients to develop digital marketing strategies that align with their business goals and objectives.

Project Management:

  • Develop and manage project timelines, budgets, and deliverables to ensure successful project completion.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop campaign assets such as website content, SEO strategies, SEM (PPC) strategies, email marketing campaigns, and social media content.

Campaign Monitoring & Reporting:

  • Monitor and analyze campaign performance metrics and adjust strategies as needed.
  • Keep clients informed of campaign progress, performance, and upcoming initiatives.

Budget Management:

  • Manage client budgets and work with the finance team to ensure accurate invoicing and payment processing.

Industry Knowledge:

  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments to provide clients with the most current digital marketing strategies.

Administrative Duties:

  • Complete administration and documentation work in appropriate systems to ensure client campaigns have a historical trail of contact and work completed.

Portfolio Tasks:

  • Work with and complete tasks across your portfolio from time to time to gain a deeper understanding of digital marketing.

Budget Responsibilities & Delegations:

  • Ensure clients do not exceed hours budgeted based on their spend.

Required Skills and Knowledge:

Essential:

  • 1-2 years of experience in digital marketing, digital call centers, or account management.
  • Understanding of digital marketing tactics such as SEO, SEM, social media, and email marketing.
  • Experience managing projects, budgets, and timelines.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to think strategically and creatively to develop effective marketing campaigns.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Desirable:

  • Website Design and Development experience.
  • Digital marketing experience on specific industry software; Google, Content Management Systems, Bing, Meta (Facebook), and other related software.
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or a related field.
