As a Sales Development Representative, you will play a crucial role at the forefront of our company's sales efforts. Your primary responsibility will involve actively generating leads and nurturing prospects throughout the sales pipeline. This entails engaging potential clients through strategic cold calls and personalized emails, effectively communicating our unique value proposition. By understanding client needs and demonstrating how our solutions can meet those needs, you will drive initial interest and pave the way for successful conversions. Your proactive approach and strong communication skills will be instrumental in establishing and expanding our client base, ultimately contributing to the company's growth and success in the marketplace.

Responsibilities

  • Generate new business opportunities to fuel the sales pipeline.
  • Efficiently respond and qualify inbound marketing leads.
  • Help create and prioritize strategic target account lists within a defined territory.
  • Conduct high-level conversations with senior executives in prospect accounts.
  • Utilize CRM systems to manage sales processes and track activities.

Requirements

  • 3-4 years of experience in a sales role, preferably within a fast-paced and competitive environment.
  • Proven track record of generating leads and closing deals.
  • Strong understanding of the sales process and dynamics.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to cold call with confidence and use email effectively as a sale too.

This position is a hybrid role, based in Lagos, Nigeria.
