Tech Sales Specialist (Nigeria)

Job Summary

Our client, a rapidly growing SaaS company, is seeking a Sales Specialist to drive sales and revenue growth in Nigeria. The company is on an exciting growth path, aiming to significantly transform its business. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the entire sales process—from prospecting new clients to closing deals. The primary focus will be on expanding the customer base, fostering strong relationships, and achieving individual sales targets.

Job Responsibilities

  • Achieve revenue targets by acquiring new clients.
  • Onboard large enterprise customers across various industries within the assigned territory.
  • Lead negotiations and close deals that maximize revenue for the company.
  • Participate in regular review meetings with leadership to evaluate performance and strategy.
  • Develop and implement go-to-market strategies for specific products, including forecasting and managing the sales pipeline.
  • Build and maintain strategic relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders.
  • Take on additional responsibilities as directed by your Line Manager.
  • Establish and maintain a strong sales pipeline through prospecting and networking.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to meet sales goals.
  • Conduct product demos and educate potential clients on the benefits of the company’s offerings to close deals.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, regulations, and competitor activities through comprehensive market research.
  • Provide excellent customer service, ensuring strong client relationships that enhance satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Offer insights and recommendations to improve products and sales processes.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations.
  • Uphold and promote the company’s culture and core values consistently.
  • Take on ad hoc duties as required.

Functional Requirements

  • 4–7 years of experience in sales or a related field.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively and meet deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and account management best practices.
  • Self-motivated, results-oriented, with a positive attitude.
