Business Intelligence Analyst (Nigeria)
Job Summary
Our client, a leading tech SaaS company, is looking for a Business Intelligence (BI) Analyst to join their dynamic team in Nigeria. In this role, you will play a crucial part in driving data-driven decision-making across the organization. You will be responsible for analyzing complex data sets, generating actionable insights, and creating reports that help the company optimize its operations and achieve strategic goals.
Job Responsibilities
- Analyze large and complex data sets to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for the business.
- Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and data visualizations that provide insights into key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Collaborate with various departments to understand their data needs and deliver tailored BI solutions.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to inform business strategies.
- Support the development and implementation of data-driven strategies to improve business performance.
- Ensure data accuracy and consistency by conducting regular data validation and quality checks.
- Present findings and insights to stakeholders, including senior management, to inform decision-making.
- Stay up to date with the latest BI tools, technologies, and best practices to continuously improve the company’s BI capabilities.
- Assist in the development of predictive models to forecast business outcomes.
- Work closely with the IT team to ensure data security and compliance with relevant regulations.

Functional/Technical Requirements
- 3–5 years of experience in business intelligence, data analysis, or a related field.
- Proficiency in BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.
- Strong SQL skills and experience working with large data sets.
- Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and ETL processes.
- Experience with statistical analysis and data modeling is a plus.
- Ability to translate complex data into clear and actionable insights.
- Excellent Excel skills, including advanced functions and pivot tables.
- Strong understanding of business operations and key performance metrics.
