Responsibilities:
- Procedures for establishing a local corporation in Indonesia.
- Scheduling and recruitment management for hiring personnel.
- Utilize local Indonesian staff to conduct training on store operations and create operation manuals.
- Educate and structure store management staff, and oversee operations. Manage local construction companies and coordinate with malls for store openings.
- Manage and direct accounting staff regarding collection management from store managers.
- Direct procurement tasks to address material shortages from stores.
- Assist in handling store issues, including coordination with legal and tax partners, and negotiation with police and other authorities.
- Create business plans in collaboration with the residing director, identify necessary elements, organize tasks, and prepare business plans.
- Execute plans by independently coordinating with local stakeholders, managing income and expenditure plans, procurement, collection systems, and recruitment plans (including searching for outsourcing companies).
- Serve as the liaison for Asahi Shimbun headquarters and Japanese partners, participate in meetings, organize negotiation statuses, and negotiate based on Indonesian circumstances.
- Attend to visitors.
- Support expatriates in their local life.
Qualifications:
- Business experience in Indonesia
- Minimum JLPT N2
- Business-level conversational ability in Indonesian, ability to understand and create written documents.
- Experience in Office Suite and Google Suite.
- Business experience in Japanese companies (local Japanese companies), understanding of Japanese corporate structure.
- Business-level conversational ability in English, ability to understand and create written documents.
- Ability to manage external local partners (construction companies, store operators, and malls) and promote business.
