Our client, a leading software development and technology consulting company based in Sweden, is looking for skilled and motivated "Data Engineers" to join their team in Colombo immediately.

# SALARY: LKR 200K

# ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Data Infrastructure Management: Manage and optimize the data infrastructure, automate processes, and deliver insightful reports to the management team.
• Report Preparation: Use SQL to prepare accurate and detailed reports for the management/Finance team.
• BI Tool Implementation: Lead the research and adaptation of a new Business Intelligence (BI) tool (AWS QuickSight, Power BI, or others) to meet the company’s BI requirements.
• Automation: Automate routine tasks using Python to enhance efficiency and reduce manual workloads.
• Collaboration: Work closely with the finance team and management to understand data needs and provide accurate and timely insights.
• Support: Provide support to DEV and SysOps teams in troubleshooting issues and learning about system domains, functionalities, and other relevant technologies.

# EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS:

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar role.
• Proficient in SQL, with experience in MySQL and PostgreSQL databases.
• Hands-on experience with production databases and systems for extracting accurate data reports.
• Experience with BI tools (AWS QuickSight or Power BI) is highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of Python and Bash scripts for automation tasks.
• Familiarity with Flask framework, API management, and different database engines.
