Responsibilities:
- Analyze current and future market trends to formulate a 2-3 year business expansion plan.
- Develop and implement sales expansion plans for each product, focusing on cost reduction.
- Monitor monthly sales and profit progress, taking corrective action if performance falls behind budget.
- Propose sales plans for new products or businesses, and suggest investment opportunities to customers, suppliers, and logistics partners.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with existing customers while creating connections with potential clients.
- Direct staff to improve performance, identify and address team weaknesses, and propose strategies to enhance business efficiency, including the adoption of paperless processes and Robotic Process Automation (RPA).
- Ensure all operations comply with internal and external regulations.
- Report the team's performance and operational challenges to superiors and consult on next steps.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a business-related field.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in Sales or Trading.
- Ability to work under pressure and in a team environment.
- Basic knowledge in accounting, finance, and risk management is advantageous.
- Comprehensive knowledge of government regulations related to the chemical business.
- Advisory and consultation skills with strong networking and communication abilities.
- Proficiency in English for both writing and conversation.
- Good knowledge of MS Office applications.
- Fluency in Japanese is a significant advantage.
