Metana is a blockchain-focused education company that trains existing developers to become blockchain developers in a 4-month bootcamp and helps them get hired. We are looking for a Student Admissions Officer to join our team to help convert inbound leads into successful admissions into our bootcamp.

Responsibilities:

• Respond to inbound inquiries from potential students via phone, email, and chat
• Understand the student's needs and background to determine if they are a good fit for our bootcamp
• Explain our bootcamp program to potential students and answer any questions they may have
• Nurture leads and follow up with them regularly to ensure that they have all the information they need to make a decision
• Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly admission goals
• Collaborate with other teams within the company to ensure the smooth running of the admission process

Qualifications:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with potential students
• Strong customer service skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet monthly and quarterly admission goals
• Self-starter with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Familiarity with the blockchain industry is a plus but not required

Education and Experience:

• Previous experience in admissions, sales, or customer service is preferred
• Experience working with CRM software is a plus
