Position Summary:

As a Quality Assurance Engineer at Hype Invention, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our innovative products. You will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive test plans, identifying and tracking defects, and working closely with development teams to deliver high-quality products.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and scripts to ensure product quality.
• Collaborate closely with other team members to identify, isolate, and track defects using a bug tracking or reporting system.
• Work closely with development teams to understand product requirements and ensure quality throughout the development lifecycle.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and system testing.
• Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on quality and maintainability.

• Collaborate with other cross functional team members to ensure consistency and efficiency in testing processes.
• Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging technologies related to quality assurance.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in quality assurance or software testing.
• Strong understanding of software development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
• Experience with automated testing tools (e.g., Selenium, Appium).
• Knowledge of programming languages (e.g., Python, Java).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to collaborate effectively with team members.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with cloud-based testing environments.
• Knowledge of performance testing tools and techniques.
• Experience with mobile app testing.
• Experience with API testing.
• Certification in software testing (e.g., ISTQB).
