Coullax is looking for Associate Tech Leads to take charge of our innovations and developments!

This role is for someone who loves to Innovate, Solve problems, tackle technical challenges, and ultimately “build the unbuilt”.

In this role, you'll lead and mentor a talented team, driving projects from concept to completion while ensuring the highest performance, scalability, and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and development of tech solutions that meet high engineering rigor, performance, and scalability standards.
• Analyze and optimize software performance, identifying and addressing bottlenecks for continuous improvement.
• Utilize version control systems (Git) for source code management, ensuring high-quality code through thorough reviews.
• Create and maintain advanced technical documentation, from design specs to user manuals.
• Prepare software for deployment with smooth transition plans and ongoing maintenance strategies.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to refine and validate requirements, ensuring alignment with business goals.
• Assess technical and economic feasibility of systems, handling change requests effectively.
• Build secure, scalable, and highly available multi-tenant applications in the cloud.
• Design and automate cloud deployment architecture and CI/CD processes.
• Conduct infrastructure planning and performance analysis in distributed/cloud-based environments (preferably AWS).
• Develop detailed test plans and execute various testing methods.
• Monitor and resolve user-reported issues promptly, providing top-tier support.
• Uphold high standards of planning, accountability, teamwork, and delivery quality.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. (or equivalent experience and skills)
• 5+ years of software development experience, including 2+ years in a leadership role. (or equivalent experience and skills)
• Extensive full-stack experience with web technologies such as RESTful APIs, Java, microservices, JavaScript/ES6, Node.js, React, React Native, and Flux/Redux.
• In-depth knowledge of databases, Linux, and containerization/virtualization (Docker, Kubernetes, Service Mesh).
• Familiarity with cloud technologies (AWS, Azure) and mobile development (iOS/Android is a plus).
• Experience with Agile methodology and tools like Jira, Confluence, and Teams, as well as CI/CD tools (Jenkins, CodePipeline, Git).
• Excellent communication and leadership skills, with a proven ability to guide teams toward successful project outcomes.
• A passion for building new technologies and a constant drive to learn and improve.
