The Role

We are looking for an experienced and dedicated Product Owner to join our Agile development team. As the Product Owner, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and managing the product vision, ensuring the development of features that meet user needs and align with business objectives. You’ll work closely with stakeholders and cross-functional teams to maximize product value and deliver outstanding user experiences.

Responsibilities

• Define, communicate, and drive the product vision and roadmap, aligning it with company objectives and market needs.
• Own and prioritize the product backlog based on business value, ROI, and customer needs. Write and refine user stories, and define clear acceptance criteria.
• Act as the main point of contact for stakeholders, gathering feedback and managing expectations, while balancing various department needs, including marketing, sales, and customer support.
• Collaborate with the Scrum team during sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives. Clarify requirements, resolve questions, and help the team achieve sprint goals.
• Review completed work to ensure it meets acceptance criteria, aligns with the product vision, and is of high quality.
• Conduct market and user research to stay updated on customer needs, competitive landscapes, and industry trends, integrating findings into product development.
• Monitor key product metrics and user feedback, using data to make informed decisions about features and priorities.
• Collaborate with the Scrum Master and development team to refine Agile processes, encouraging a culture of continuous improvement.

Key Requirements

• Strong conceptual understanding of API Service Architecture (REST/SOAP), OpenAPI, API Design, Security, Lifecycle Management and general API-based and Web-based technologies.
• Experience with Cloud/System Monitoring Tools – Datadog, ELK, Prometheus, Grafana, etc.
• Excellent analytical capabilities, ability to communicate with both technical and business stakeholders, highly committed, self-driven, and customer oriented
• Prior experience as Business Analyst / Technical Analyst / Software Engineer / DevOps Engineer or similar role
• Professional experience in working within Agile teams, and comfortable with continuous delivery environment
• Proven hands-on experience API Management Tools (Axway, Apigee, Kong Gateway or equivalent) or system integration experience using API / configuration
• Proven hands-on experience in any Cloud Service Provider – AWS preferred

Optional Skills (Nice To Have)

• Hands-on development experience in any programming or scripting language – Java, NodeJs, Python, Angular preferred
• Experience in API Product, SOA, ESB, Containerization, API Security and Application Security
• Experience in designing, building, and maintaining Cloud Native Applications utilizing Containerization, and Orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
• Experience on Database Management and Performance Optimization
• Experience in Event Driven Architecture, GraphQL
• Experience in Application Vulnerability assessment and tooling
