We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to join our finance team. The Senior Accountant will be responsible for managing financial reporting, ensuring compliance with accounting principles, and providing insights to support strategic decision-making. This role requires a strong understanding of accounting processes and a commitment to maintaining the integrity of financial information.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Reporting:

• Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

• Prepare custom reports for the decisions making purposes of the management

General Ledger Management:

• Oversee and maintain the general ledger, ensuring all transactions are recorded accurately and in a timely manner.

• Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies.

Budgeting and Forecasting:

• Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts.

• Monitor budget vs. actual results and provide variance analysis.

Audit Support:

• Coordinate with external auditors during the annual audit process.

• Prepare necessary documentation and respond to auditor inquiries.

Compliance and Controls:

• Ensure compliance with internal controls and company policies.

• Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices.

Tax Compliance:

• Assist in the preparation and filing of federal, state, and local tax returns.

• Stay updated on tax regulations and ensure compliance.

Team Leadership:

• Mentor and train junior accounting staff.

• Foster a collaborative team environment.

Qualifications

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

Experience:

• Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience, with a focus on financial reporting and general ledger management.

• Experience in audit firsm is a plus.

Skills:

• Proficient in accounting software - QuickBooks and Microsoft Office.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Knowledge:

• Understanding of tax laws and compliance requirements.
