JOB SUMMARY:

Kerner Norland is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Executive – Human Resources to join our dynamic team. Responsible for managing and executing various human resources functions, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, training and development, and HR administration. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of HR policies and procedures, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Recruitment:

  • Collaborate with hiring managers to develop recruitment strategies, source and select qualified candidates, conduct interviews, manage onboarding, and coordinate recruitment events.

Employee Relations:

  • Foster positive employee relations by addressing concerns, conducting investigations into complaints, ensuring compliance with employment laws, and promoting an inclusive work environment.

Performance Management:

  • Support the performance management process by assisting with goal setting, evaluations, and improvement plans while providing guidance on performance matters and identifying training and development needs.

Training and Development:

  • Coordinate and facilitate training programs by identifying needs, developing materials, delivering presentations, and evaluating effectiveness for continuous improvement.

HR Administration:

  • Maintain accurate employee records and HR databases, prepare reports, assist in developing HR policies, and ensure compliance with legal requirements and internal policies.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in HR roles, preferably as an HR Executive or HR Generalist.
  • Strong knowledge of Sri Lankan labor laws and regulations.
  • Experience in recruitment and selection processes.
  • Familiarity with performance management and employee relations.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications.
  • Professional certification in HR (e.g., CIPM, SHRM) is a plus.
