About Second Estate: Second Estate is a co-ownership hospitality platform dedicated to transforming the way luxury vacation properties are experienced in Sri Lanka. By seamlessly blending ownership and hospitality, we aim to deliver exceptional stays while offering a compelling ownership model. To achieve this, we are seeking a CEO with extensive hospitality management experience to oversee operations, elevate service standards, and build an unforgettable guest experience.

Role Overview: The CEO will focus on the operational and service management aspects of Second Estate. This role is ideal for a professional with deep hospitality management expertise who can ensure our properties operate with excellence, guests receive unparalleled experiences, and our co-owners feel a true sense of belonging.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operational Excellence: Oversee day-to-day management of properties to ensure the highest standards of quality and service.
  • Service Delivery: Develop and implement customer service protocols that reflect the luxury nature of the brand.
  • Property Management: Work closely with property owners and teams to maintain pristine facilities and smooth operations.
  • Guest Experience: Innovate and enhance the guest journey, from booking to checkout, ensuring unforgettable stays.
  • Team Leadership: Recruit, train, and manage hospitality staff to deliver consistent and exceptional service.
  • Vendor & Partner Relations: Manage relationships with local service providers, property managers, and other stakeholders.
  • Budget Management: Ensure operations run efficiently within budget while maintaining premium service levels.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Hospitality Management Experience: 5+ years in hospitality operations or management, ideally within luxury hotel brands, resort management, or serviced properties.
  • Hands-On Approach: Proven ability to manage day-to-day operations and deliver outstanding results.
  • Guest-Centric Vision: A passion for creating exceptional experiences and exceeding guest expectations.
  • Attention to Detail: A meticulous approach to managing properties, service standards, and team performance.
  • Problem Solver: Quick thinking and effective in resolving operational challenges.
  • Communication Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage with teams, partners, and co-owners.
