Job Title: Travel Executive

Job Description:

We seek a highly motivated and dynamic Travel Executive to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for liaising with clients to understand their travel requirements, creating customised itineraries, and providing excellent service throughout the booking process. This role will involve managing travel documentation, negotiating and booking hotels and drivers, and ensuring smooth travel arrangements, including outbound airline ticketing. As the business grows, the Travel Executive will also have the opportunity to build and lead a team of travel professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Liaise with clients to understand their travel needs and preferences.

• Propose suitable hotels, itineraries, and travel packages that align with clients’ requirements and budget.

• Design and prepare comprehensive travel documentation, including itineraries, booking confirmations, and travel insurance details.

• Negotiate rates and secure bookings for hotels, drivers, and other travel-related services.

• Manage and book outbound airline tickets for clients, ensuring the best routes and pricing.

• Provide excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries, resolving issues, and offering recommendations.

• Monitor and manage client travel plans to ensure smooth execution from booking to completion of the trip.

• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, airline ticketing regulations, and travel destinations to provide relevant advice to clients.

• Build strong relationships with hotel partners, travel service providers, and airlines.

• Develop and lead a travel team as the business grows, ensuring high performance and excellent client service.

Person Specification:

Qualifications:

• Experience in travel and tourism, hospitality management, or a related field.

• Travel and tourism-related qualifications would be advantageous.

• Knowledge of airline ticketing systems and regulations.

• Familiarity with travel booking platforms and tools (e.g., GDS systems, Amadeus, Sabre).

Experience:

• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in the travel or hospitality industry, with a focus on client service and travel bookings.

• Proven experience in creating itineraries, managing bookings, and liaising with hotels and transport services.

• Experience in outbound airline ticketing and international travel arrangements.

• Experience in team leadership or the potential to lead a team in the future is an advantage.

Skills:

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with clients and partners.

• Strong negotiation skills to secure competitive rates with hotels and travel service providers.

• Organizational and multitasking skills to manage multiple bookings and travel planssimultaneously.

• Problem-solving abilities to handle any travel-related issues that may arise.

• Proficient in travel booking software and Microsoft Office Suite.

• Leadership and team-building abilities for future team management.
