Role Overview

As a Senior Video Editor, you will lead the video production process, transforming concepts into visually stunning and engaging content. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop promotional materials, tutorials, webinars, and social media content that resonate with our audience. Key Responsibilities

• Lead Video Editing Projects: Take ownership of the end-to-end video production process, from storyboarding to final delivery.

• High-Quality Content Creation: Edit and produce polished videos for marketing campaigns, product launches, tutorials, and events.

• Motion Graphics & Animation: Design and incorporate dynamic animations, transitions, and effects to elevate video content.

• Creative Direction: Collaborate with the creative and marketing teams to brainstorm and execute innovative video ideas.

• Content Optimization: Adapt and optimize videos for multiple platforms, ensuring maximum reach and engagement.

• Mentorship: Guide junior video editors, providing constructive feedback and supporting their professional development.

• Asset Management: Oversee the organization and archiving of video files, raw footage, and project assets.

• Brand Consistency: Ensure all videos adhere to Metana’s brand guidelines and maintain a cohesive look and feel.

Qualifications and Skills

• Experience: 5+ years of professional video editing experience with a strong portfolio showcasing your work.

• Technical Expertise: Advanced proficiency in video editing tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, and DaVinci Resolve.

• Motion Graphics: Strong knowledge of animation tools like After Effects or Blender.

• Storytelling: Exceptional storytelling skills with a deep understanding of pacing, composition, and audience engagement.

• Attention to Detail: Strong eye for design and aesthetics, ensuring a flawless final product.

• Leadership Skills: Proven ability to mentor and manage junior team members.

• Adaptability: Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
