Role Description

We are seeking a Social Media Marketing Specialist to join our team at Mimik Creations. This is a full-time role with a remote-first approach, based in Sri Lanka, requiring occasional on-site engagements. The ideal candidate will lead our social media marketing efforts by creating engaging content, developing strategic roadmaps, and fostering strong communication with stakeholders to boost brand awareness and engagement.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in social platforms and META tools (Facebook Ads, Business Suite).

• Knowledge of SEO and a minimum of 2 years in social media management

• 1 year of experience in social media strategy & road map creation

• Strong skills in social media content creation

• Expertise in marketing and stakeholder communication

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines

• Self-motivated and comfortable in a 90% remote work environment, with availability for occasional on-site tasks

• Fluency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)

• Familiarity with Google AdWords

• Energetic, passionate, and task-oriented

• Good reporting skills

• Passion, creativity, and drive to succeed in a startup environment

• Educational qualifications are not required, but proven experience and relevant skills are essential
