We are looking for a talented UI/UX Designer to join our team and craft exceptional user experiences for our Learning Management System (LMS). You will play a key role in designing intuitive and visually appealing interfaces that cater to both students and instructors. While this role primarily focuses on design, a basic understanding of frontend development principles is preferred to ensure your designs are feasible for implementation. You’ll collaborate closely with prsoduct managers, developers, and other stakeholders to bring your ideas to life and continuously enhance our platform.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to understand user requirements and translate them into design solutions.
- Design wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes for web and mobile platforms using tools like Figma, Adobe XD, or Sketch.
- Ensure designs are implementable by understanding basic frontend development principles and assessing feasibility.
- Work with the development team to bridge the gap between design and implementation, ensuring designs are accurately translated into code.
- Ensure platform designs are responsive and provide an optimal experience across devices and screen sizes.
- Manage design versions in tools like Figma and coordinate with the development team to maintain consistency between design and code versions.
- Incorporate usability testing feedback to improve the overall user experience.
- Stay updated on UI/UX trends and best practices to continuously innovate and enhance the platform.
- Create and maintain design systems or suggest component libraries to streamline development and maintain design consistency.
Qualifications
- Education
- Bachelor's degree in Design, User Experience, Human-Computer Interaction, or equivalent experience.
- Experience
- 0-2 years of experience in UI/UX design for web and mobile applications.
- Proficiency in design tools like Figma, Adobe XD, or Sketch.
- Familiarity with basic frontend concepts (e.g., HTML, CSS) to assess design feasibility.
- Familiarity with version control concepts, especially version management in design tools like Figma.
