Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct detailed soil analysis and topographical assessment of all five land parcels to determine optimal crop selection and farming methods
• Develop comprehensive agricultural plans considering the unique characteristics of each region.
• Design and implement sustainable farming practices suitable for each location
• Create planting schedules and crop rotation plans
• Establish irrigation systems appropriate for each site's conditions
• Monitor and manage pest control and disease prevention
• Coordinate with local agricultural authorities and resources
• Train and supervise farm workers
• Maintain detailed records of agricultural activities and outcomes
• Provide monthly progress reports and recommendations

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years experience in tropical agriculture management
• Proven experience with diverse farming conditions and multiple site management
• Strong knowledge of Sri Lankan agricultural practices and local climate patterns
• Experience with sustainable farming methods and organic agriculture
• Proficiency in both Sinhala and English
• Willingness to travel between sites

Preferred Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Agricultural Science, or related field
• Knowledge of highland and lowland farming techniques
• Experience with water management and irrigation systems
• Understanding of local market demands and supply chains
• Familiarity with agricultural technology and data management
• Project management experience
• Proficiency in Tamil
