Job Description: We are seeking an experienced QA Engineer (Manual Testing) with strong expertise in API and Database Testing to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in ensuring the quality of our software products by performing manual testing and validating the functionality, performance, and security of APIs and databases.

Key Responsibilities: Perform manual testing for web and mobile applications, ensuring product quality and alignment with business requirements. Design, develop, and execute API test cases to verify functionality, performance, and reliability of APIs using tools like Postman, SoapUI, or similar. Conduct database testing, including validating data integrity, querying databases, and ensuring that data is stored correctly and retrieved accurately. Perform regression, smoke, sanity, and user acceptance testing (UAT) for new and existing features. Review and analyze product requirements, technical specifications, and design documents to create comprehensive test plans and test cases. Identify, document, and track defects using bug tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Bugzilla, or similar). Collaborate with development teams to understand the software's technical aspects and assist in debugging and troubleshooting issues. Work closely with stakeholders to validate business logic and ensure that user expectations are met. Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies, promoting best practices in quality assurance. Required Skills and Qualifications: Experience: 3-5 years of experience in manual testing with a focus on API testing and database testing. Strong knowledge of manual testing principles and test case design. Proficient in using API testing tools such as Postman, SoapUI, or others. Solid understanding of database testing, including SQL queries, data validation, and familiarity with databases like MySQL, SQL Server, or Oracle. Experience in functional, regression, and integration testing. Knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and software testing lifecycle (STLC). Hands-on experience with bug tracking tools such as Jira, Bugzilla, etc. Good understanding of web services and protocols like REST, SOAP, JSON, and XML. Familiarity with Agile methodologies and working in Agile teams. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a collaborative environment.
