The Senior Pre-Sales Solution Architect will provide services to one of our clients at Olinqua Pty Ltd, a dynamic and innovative Healthcare technology company committed to leveraging cutting-edge technology to drive business success.

Job Overview

We are looking for a Senior Pre-Sales Solution Architect to join our team as a technical thought leader and strategic advisor. In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with our sales teams, partners, and customers to design, document, and present high-value, scalable, and mission-critical solutions.

As a team, we bring deep expertise in RTLS, IoT, and Microsoft Azure cloud technologies, and we’re seeking someone who shares our passion for innovation. You’ll play a pivotal role in defining solution strategy, shaping product roadmaps, and influencing key customer decisions—all while ensuring our solutions are well-documented, visually represented, and aligned with business objectives.

Responsibilities

Strategic Technical Leadership & Solution Design:

• Act as the technical lead for all RTLS and IoT solution designs, ensuring alignment with Azure best practices and industry standards.
• Develop comprehensive architecture designs, including high-level conceptual models and detailed technical blueprints, using tools such as Visio, Lucidchart, Draw.io, or Azure Architecture Center.
• Define and refine enterprise-scale IoT and RTLS solution architectures, integrating Azure IoT Hub, Azure Digital Twins, Azure Functions, and Azure Security.
• Provide expert guidance on IoT device connectivity, sensor integration, cloud data pipelines, and edge computing strategies.
• Work closely with engineering and product teams to shape Olinqua’s technical roadmap and ensure solutions are scalable, secure, and future proof.

Pre-Sales Strategy & Enterprise Consulting:

• Serve as the technical lead in high-value, complex pre-sales engagements, influencing key customer decisions.
• Lead executive-level technical presentations, solution workshops, and architectural reviews with enterprise clients.
• Collaborate with sales teams to develop and execute go-to-market strategies for Azure-based RTLS and IoT solutions.
• Assess and mitigate technical risks in proposed solutions, ensuring robust, scalable architectures.
• Assist in crafting tender responses, proposals, and technical sales documentation.

Customer & Partner Engagement:

• Act as a trusted advisor to customers, guiding them on IoT transformation, digital twin strategies, and RTLS adoption.
• Conduct deep-dive technical workshops, helping customers define their RTLS and IoT roadmaps.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with key industry partners, system integrators, and Azure solution providers.

Solution Documentation & Technical Architecture Diagrams:

• Own and maintain the technical documentation repository, ensuring that all designs are accurate, up-to-date, and well-structured.
• Create detailed technical schematics, network architecture diagrams, data flow charts, and integration workflows.
• Utilize Microsoft Azure Architecture Center and best practices to standardize solution documentation.

Knowledge Sharing & Team Leadership:

• Mentor and coach junior solution architects and sales engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence.
• Conduct internal training sessions and knowledge-sharing workshops to upskill teams on RTLS, IoT, and Azure architectures.
• Act as an internal advocate for emerging Azure IoT capabilities, RTLS innovations, and cloud security best practices.

Qualifications & Experience

Essential:

• 8+ years of experience in a solution architecture, pre-sales, or technical consulting role, with a strong focus on Azure-based IoT and RTLS solutions.
• Proven leadership experience in designing and delivering enterprise-scale IoT, RTLS, and cloud solutions.
• Expertise in Microsoft Azure IoT services, including Azure IoT Hub, Azure Digital Twins, Azure Event Grid, Azure Functions, and Azure Monitor.
• Experience with RTLS technologies such as BLE, RFID, UWB, Wi-Fi, GPS, and their integration with Azure cloud platforms.
• Strong knowledge of IoT device communication protocols (MQTT, CoAP, HTTP, AMQP) and Azure-based security frameworks.
• Deep understanding of Azure cloud networking, identity management (Azure AD, RBAC), and cybersecurity best practices.
• Extensive experience in documenting and visualizing solutions using Visio, Lucidchart, Draw.io, or Azure Architecture Center tools.
• Strong presentation and communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to engage C-level executives and technical stakeholders.

Desirable:

• Experience in healthcare, logistics, or mission-critical industries where RTLS and IoT solutions are widely adopted.
• Microsoft Azure IoT Developer or Azure Solutions Architect Expert certification.
• Experience with Azure AI/ML services for IoT analytics.
• Hands-on experience with Python, .NET, or PowerShell for Azure-based deployments.
