Job Description:

Seeking skilled with 5+ years of experience. Big Data Hadoop and Unix Administrator to manage and maintain Hadoop infrastructure. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Hadoop ecosystem and UNIX/Linuxenvironments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement, manage, and administer the Hadoop infrastructure to ensure seamless operations.
  • Perform software installation, configuration, and upgrades on UNIX/Linux operating systems.
  • Monitor and optimize cluster performance using tools like Cloudera Manager.
  • Deploy and maintain Hadoop clusters, including adding/removing nodes and managing resource allocation.
  • Conduct regular health checks to ensure cluster stability and reliability.
  • Analyze storage data volumes and allocate space within HDFS.
  • Utilize shell scripting to automate administrative tasks.
  • Maintain a solid understanding of networking, CPU, memory, and storage to optimize system performance.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure-related issues efficiently.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in Big Data Hadoop administration.
  • Strong proficiency in UNIX/Linux operating systems.
  • Hands-on experience with cluster monitoring tools like Cloudera Manager.
  • Expertise in shell scripting for automation.
  • Basic knowledge of networking, system processes, and resource scheduling.
