Job Description ā Sales Executive
š Location: Sri Lanka š¼ Employment Type: Full-Time š Department: Sales & Business Development
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and generate new business opportunities in the travel industry.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, travel agencies, and suppliers.
- Promote travel packages, ticketing services, and customized travel solutions.
- Meet and exceed sales targets by developing strategic sales plans.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and commission structures with clients and partners.
- Conduct market research to understand customer needs and industry trends.
- Work closely with the marketing team to implement promotional campaigns.
- Provide exceptional customer service to ensure client retention and satisfaction.
Key Requirements:
āļø Minimum 3+ years of experience in sales and customer relationship management within the travel industry.
āļø Strong communication, negotiation, and persuasion skills.
āļø Ability to generate leads and close deals effectively.
āļø Proficiency in marketing and sales strategies for travel services.
āļø Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a target-driven environment.
āļø Fluent in English & Sinhala (Tamil is an added advantage).
āļø Basic knowledge of GDS systems (Amadeus, Sabre) is a plus.
