Job Description – Trainee Travel Consultant

📍 Location: Sri Lanka

💼 Employment Type: Full-Time

✈️ Department: Sales & Customer Service

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist customers with travel inquiries, bookings, and itinerary planning.
• Develop a basic understanding of GDS systems (Amadeus, Sabre) for ticketing and reservations.
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client needs and travel concerns.
• Learn and stay updated on travel destinations, airline policies, and tourism trends.
• Support senior travel consultants in managing bookings, cancellations, and modifications.
• Work in a fast-paced environment while ensuring accuracy in customer transactions.

Key Requirements:

✔️ Passion for travel and customer service.

✔️ Strong communication skills with a customer-friendly attitude.

✔️ Basic knowledge of geography, travel processes, and tourism.

✔️ Willingness to learn GDS systems (Amadeus, Sabre) and reservation tools.

✔️ Proficiency in basic computer skills (email, MS Office, online booking platforms).

✔️ Ability to work in a dynamic and target-driven environment.

✔️ Fluent in English & Sinhala (Tamil is an added advantage).
