Half Life is a SaaS (software as a service) company building technologies for Marketing technology, Advertising technology & location data intelligence tools. Half Life is looking for aDevOps engineer to work on part time basis. As part of the role you will design, develop, test and maintain infrastructure as code, CI/CD patterns, Configuration Management and containerized product applications.

Your scope of work will include:

• Working with people, processes, and technologies to continuously deliver business value.
• Designing and implementing strategies for collaboration, code, infrastructure, source control, security, continuous integration, testing,delivery, monitoring and feedback.
• Designing and implementing solutions that run on Digital Ocean
• Developing scripts for managing Digital Ocean infrastructure.

Requirements:

• Experience with IaC tools such as Pulumi or Terraform.
• Knowledge and experience with version control systems (Git) and branching strategies
• Knowledge and experience with DevOps concepts and principles (CI/CD) with Github actions
• DevOps organization administration knowledge and experience
• Knowledge on one of the Cloud technology Digital Ocean or AWS
• Analytical, conceptual, communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to multitask and priorities actions, identify possible improvements, and adapt to a changing environment.
• Willingness to create proof of concepts, present, develop, test, operationalize and support solutions that automate tasks.

Preferred qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or Equivalent
• Digital Ocean Certification(s) or other relevant cloud certifications.
• 2+ years of experience in a similar role
• Experience working as a Full Stack engineer
