One of our prestigious clients who is a French Multinational Corporation is looking for experienced "Procurement Managers" to join their Jaffna team immediately.
SALARY: Rs. 300,000 - 350,000
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop and implement procurement strategies to ensure the timely acquisition of resources and services at the most cost-effective rates.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers in Sri Lanka and negotiate contracts to secure advantageous terms.
- Manage procurement processes and coordinate material and resource allocation.
- Implement and oversee the use of SAP procurement procedures for maximum efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- Work in conjunction with the accounting team to ensure accurate financial planning, cost analysis, and budget control in procurement.
- Collaborate with key internal stakeholders to ensure clarity of specifications and expectations.
- Continually review current procurement processes for potential improvements.
- Adhere to all local and international procurement regulations and protocols.
- Perform risk management regarding supply contracts and agreements.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCES:
- Age between 25 - 50 years.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or in the related field.
- Minimum of 7 - 10 years of experience in procurement, preferably within an international context.
- At least 5 years of experience working abroad is an added advantage.
- Extensive knowledge of SAP procurement procedures is required.
- Experience in the water treatment sector would be beneficial.
- Familiarity with Sri Lankan markets, vendors, and local business environments.
