We are seeking a Compensation and Benefits Specialist to play a key role in designing, developing, and implementing competitive compensation and benefits programs that align with our company’s strategy and objectives. This role is crucial in ensuring that our compensation policies support employee satisfaction, legal compliance, and overall business success. Working under the guidance of the Superintendent of Rewards & HR Policies, the specialist will conduct benchmarking, analyze market trends, and maintain salary structures that promote fairness and retention across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct benchmarking studies and compensation surveys to assess market competitiveness and recommend enhancements to salary and benefits programs.
Ensure compliance with Saudi labor laws and industry best practices in all compensation and benefits policies.
Design and maintain the company’s salary structures, merit increases, bonuses, and other reward components to attract and retain top talent.
Integrate compensation and benefits programs with performance management, talent development, and recruitment strategies.
Analyze survey data and make data-driven recommendations for salary adjustments, bonuses, and retention programs.
Oversee the administration of benefits programs such as medical coverage, home ownership plans, and savings/thrift plans.
Collaborate with external consultants and industry experts to implement best practices and innovative compensation strategies.
Support the performance appraisal process by ensuring timely salary and bonus adjustments in coordination with HR teams.
Work closely with job evaluation specialists to maintain equitable and competitive pay structures across the company.
Provide coaching and support to HR team members on compensation policies, salary structures, and benefits administration.
Job Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
Certification in Compensation and Benefits (CCP, GRP, or equivalent) is preferred but not required.
Minimum six (6) years of experience in Compensation and Benefits, with at least two (2) years in a similar role.
Strong knowledge of compensation strategies, salary benchmarking, and benefits administration.
Experience with refinery, oil & gas, or industrial sector HR practices is a plus.
Strong expertise in compensation analytics and reward management.
Solid understanding of local labor market trends and global compensation practices.
Proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Office applications.
Excellent analytical and quantitative skills with attention to detail.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills for stakeholder collaboration.
Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and manage multiple priorities under pressure.
Fluent in English (written and spoken); Arabic proficiency is a plus.
