About: We are a fast-growing creative agency on a mission to build a talented and dynamic team. As we scale, we’re looking for an HR & Recruitment Executive to take ownership of our hiring process and employee management. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with the founders, play a key role in shaping our company culture, and gain valuable experience in a fast-paced, startup environment.

Location: Remote Work Hours: Full-time Pay: Negotiable

Key Responsibilities:

Recruitment & Hiring:

  • Post job descriptions on LinkedIn and Roster.
  • Answer candidate inquiries via email and phone.
  • Review applications, shortlist candidates, and conduct initial phone screenings.
  • Assess candidates' language skills and remote work setup.
  • Schedule and coordinate Zoom interviews for final rounds.

Onboarding & Employee Support:

  • Guide new hires through onboarding, ensuring smooth integration into our workflow.
  • Manage employee records and HR documentation.
  • Provide support for employee concerns and escalate when necessary.

Payroll & HR Administration:

  • Prepare and send salary slips.
  • Update payroll data in our accounting software.
  • Maintain compliance with company policies and ensure HR best practices.

Work Culture & Operations:

  • Help maintain a positive and efficient remote work environment.
  • Assist with future training schedules and other HR-related improvements.

Requirements:**

  • At least 1 year of experience in HR, recruitment, or a similar role.
  • Strong communication skills, especially in English & Sinhala.
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism.
  • Familiarity with payroll and HR processes (experience with accounting software is a plus).
  • Reliable internet connection

Work Hours:

  • While work hours are flexible, you must be available to take calls, respond to emails, employee support, and complete tasks within expected deadlines.
