It is a full-time job in our Colombo office at Ward Place.

AB Luxury is a Tourism Company based in Paris (France) which is a part of the AB Business Enterprises with branches in Chennai, in Dubai, and in Colombo. We are specialized in the organization of travel, transport and official events for individuals, families, business executives, diplomats and VIPs in Europe, the Middle East and Asia.

Under the direct counsellor in Paris office and the Director in Colombo, you will handle the following tasks:

Responsibilities

• Contact foreign travel agents using all kinds of marketing methods and promote our existing tour packages or gather travel requirement from them.

• Create attractive itineraries and send to our international network.

• Be able to negotiate hotel rates, transportation for an attractive price.

• Be able to do costing of a tour using our systems.

• Be able to generate a tailor made tour using our systems.

• Should be able to generate sales though new customers.

• Have the ability to effectively promote and sale our inbound destinations.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skill with an ability to bring new sales to company

• Prepare hotels & site visits to experiment before sending our clients

• Maintain and update databases, spreadsheets, and electronic filing systems related to Sales and Marketing activities (e.g., tours, mailings).

• Enter, retrieve, reconcile, and verify information (e.g., commissions, leads, third parties) in documents involved in the sales process.

• Develop a marketing plan

Requirements

• Position open for Female & Male

• No age preferences

• 1-year experience in inbound Travel & Tourism Industry

• A diploma or related qualifications in travel & tourism is an advantage

• Good communication skills in English with computer literacy.

• Good personality with good negotiation and PR skills

Basic salary + Commissions on sales Local and International travel opportunities

Full time position

Office hours: 8am to 5pm

From Monday to Friday included |Saturday and Sunday off
